Service
Provided
- I
will discuss your individual requirements with you beforehand
to ensure all your wishes can be met.
- The
motorcar(s) will be detailed with ivory wedding ribbons
and high quality white silk flowers. You are most welcome
to choose another colour of ribbon if you wish. Umbrellas
will be available if necessary.
- The
Bridal party will be taken to the place of the ceremony
as agreed, including a 'shuttle' for the Bridesmaids if
required.
- If
the service required includes onward travel to the reception
the car(s) will wait outside the place of the ceremony to
convey the Bridal party as agreed, with complimentary champagne
being offered to the Bride and Groom as they board the car.
- Chauffeurs
will be attentive and do all that can be done to make the
day a special one for all.
Cost
of Hire
- Prices
will depend on your requirments and distance of travel,
however, as a guide, when total travel distance is less
than 30 miles prices start from as little as £95
for a single journey (including ribbons & flowers) in
the Daimler VDP. For the full service detailed above, the
normal cost is £335.00
for the Morris Cowley (see Gallery comment),
£255.00 for the Jaguar Mk2 and £155
for the Daimler VDP. Please feel free to ask for an individual
quote.
- I
confirm that there are no additional charges for ribbons
of your choice.
Terms
of Hire
- It
will be the client's responsibility to complete the booking
form with all necessary detail, stating times of arrival
and journeys required with addresses, post codes and point
of contact telephone numbers if possible. The routes to
take will be agreed with the client when requirements are
discussed.
- The
car will be confirmed as booked on receipt of a £50
deposit, which is refundable only if the car can be re-booked
on the day reserved.
- The
balance of the cost is payable 3 weeks before the wedding.
An invoice will be sent approximately 4 weeks before the
wedding and telephone contact made during the week of the
wedding to confirm arrangements.
- In
the very unlikely event of a problem occurring, responsibility
cannot be accept for circumstances beyond the control of
One Man And His Jaguars, such as late arrival due to traffic
jams, redirection of traffic, road closures or road traffic
accidents. However, One Man And His Jaguars promises to
do all that is possible to mitigate against such occurrences
by careful planning and if they do occur, to do all that
can be done to minimise any impact.
- Unfortunately,
no motor vehicle can be given a 100% guarantee of servicability
and consequently, provision must be made for unforeseen
mechanical or electrical malfunctions. In the very unlikely
event of the booked motorcar breaking down before departure,
there is always a reserve car, normally a Rover 75 Connoisseur,
standing by. In the event of a breakdown en-route alternative
arrangments will be made to convey passengers to their destination.
- NB.
£10.00 from each hire charge will be donated to The
Royal British Legion Poppy Fund. The funds raised will go
directly towards the Legion's vital charitable work, helping
both the serving and ex-Service community and their families.
